Are you putting up a Christmas tree this year? If you are then you might want to consider making one of these handmade Christmas trees out of paper. They are really cute and of course super festive. I would highly recommend putting these out as either home decor or even as a gift to one of your family members or friends. The project is really easy to take on therefore it makes a really good project for your kids. Start getting festive and get out your crafting materials. Enjoy!
Here are the things you may need:
Origami paper with colors and patterns that you like;
Cut white paper into strips and coil it which creates the Christmas Tree base.
Fold the origami paper into a thin strip and cut out triangle shape on both edges.
Bend the strip in the middle and loose the folds to make it look like a fan. Secure with glue.
Make two more fan shapes.
Glue the three fan shapes to make a circle.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 to make more circles with different sizes and colors.
Thread the circles in two wooden skewers. Note that the circles should be arranged in a way that the largest is at the bottom and the smallest is on the top.
Stick the skewers into the base to make the paper Christmas tree stand.
You may add a Christmas star ornament on the top. Enjoy!
